Original property management company has sold to larger, non-local company and service is not as good as it was when locally owned.
I've stayed at the Chelan Resort Suites location on 2 prior occasions, which is now under the management of Chelan Vacation Properties. Despite the fact that the property requires that you wear wristbands to be on the premises and also requires that you completely clean the room before leaving (including washing all dishes and towels), we've returned several times. We've never had any problems or been charged any sort of cleaning or damage fee, and yet this year we were told we would not be able to rent a condo because the average age of our group is not above 30 and we aren't with kids (we're a group of mid-20s professionals who take an annual summer trip to the lake). This seems like a discriminatory practice to me, and this is no longer somewhere where I will spend any time or money or send any referrals!
Fantastic local company!! They support the community and run a professional business that keep tourist coming back to this beautiful valley.
